Of a heavy discoidal form pierced longitudinally for attachment to a wooden shaft, the exterior polished to a smooth finish.

Rare Egyptian Stone carving of a Fish, likely Pre-Dynastic, late 4th. millenium BC.

The medium is a sort of limestone, cream colour. The carving is likely of a Tilapia fish - the bulging upturned mouth, the operculum, the long dorsal fin, and the peculia fins. Made with drilled holes for mounting it in the mouth of the fish.

A rare and interesting inscribed clay tablet, Cuneiform inscription and imprint of a cylinder seal, Neo-Sumerian, ca. 2000 BC.

This Ur III administrative text records in Sumerian cuneiform, it's so far untranslated and was issued at Umma.

The tablet also shows an imprint of figures from a cylinder seal, thus quite scarce.

Exceptionally sharp cylinder seal with the great King standing before the godess Ana, another godess to his left, standing facing.

A very rare intact terracotta stamp seal of the New Kingdom in Egypt, 16th-11th century BC.

This type of large-format oval stamp seal was regularly used for sealing jar stoppers and bricks. Only a few have survived in this terrific condition with fully readable Hierglyphs. The seal is Carthouche-shaped so it likely contains a name of a Ruler, but so far untranslated. The glyphs includes 'Son Of Ra' and a large coiled Cobra. A large handle on the back.

A superb and very nicely executed thickbutted Danish Neolithic axe dating c. 3000-2500 BC.

The axe is unpolished with a beautyful amber patina. Collection tag '4' written on one side - also finding place 'Grunderup Klint.'

The thickbutted axes began to replace the the thinbutted types in the last part of the 4th mill. and became the dominant type during the first millenium BC. This specimen is a 'Lindoe'-type - a later development of the thickbutted type.
