The 2nd. of a pair of very rare scythes that we recently aquired. Interesting large size sicle with a sharp blade, used as a harvesting tool and sometimes as a weapon as well. European bronzeage scythe blades (sicles) are fairly commenly sold on the market whereas sicles from the Near east or western asian bronzeage cultures are very scarce indeed...

An absolutely stunning massive bronze Adze, Amlash / Marlik, 2nd. millenium BC.

This Adze as it's called, is made as a combination of a horisontical and a vertical blade, with a short socket below decorated with relief lines. The type is typical for the area up to the South Caspian Sea and was made presumably for warfare in the 2nd. millenium BC.
