A rare cylinder seal of limestone, Bactria or Margiana, 3rd.-2nd. millemium BC.

The seal finely engraved with two human figures holding spears and a lion on it's hindlegs in the archaic style.

Condition: Choice, a few microscopic chips, but basically intact and quite sharp.

One ring with a small hemispheric bezel with a duck engraved is likely Islamic and belongs to the very early period. The other two either Islamic or Byzantine with dome-shaped bezels.

FINE LARGE SCARABOID SEAL WITH THE CARTOUCHE OF THUTMOSE III, NEW KINGDOM, Thutmose III, ruled 1479-1425 BC

Unsually large and well engraved steatite scaraboid with engravings on both sides. Obverse: A pair of two very well-defines crocodiles, Reverse: The cartouche of Thutmose topped by a pair of feathers of Maat. Could be read as 'Thutmose, the bringer of law and justice'.

Size: c. 23 mm. long and 19 mm wide, longitudially pierced.

A wonderful original restrung necklace with two cylinder seals and multible beads in faiance, dating to the predynastic period, 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

The chain consists of round beads and with diamondshaped beads at symethric intervals. In each side a large cylinder seal with lines engraved. The seals are sort of barrel-shaped.

Size: Chain measure c. 100 cm. The seals, 30 mm. and 35 mm.

An extremely rare and important Etruscan offer bowl (omphalos), made in thick terracotta glazed pottery, 400-300 BC.

This shallow terracotta bowl is molded after bronze vessels and has a dome-like omphalos emerging from its interior. Around the omphalos are deep relief decorations. Very rare in terracotta.

The exterior is finely glazed and the bowl has two holes for hanging, typical for the Etruscan ware.
