An late renaissance or baroque period Iron Padlock, European, ca. 16th.-17th. century.

Cast and wrought lock. Very beautiful with an arched moveable part and a keyhole at one end. The lock was cobber braized or plated in the renaissance manor and much cobber can still be spotted in parts of the surface (see pictures).

Size: 13,5 cm. long and around 7 cm. high.

HEAVY SPANISH BRONZE MORTAR WITH HIGH RELIEF DESIGN, DATING TO THE LATER 16TH. CENTURY.

Beautifully hand cast with a deeply moulded design of classical portraits enface in relief around the body intersected by ribs.

The mortar is ca. 11,5 cm. wide and weighing app. 1,5 kilograms.

A beautiful Latten bronze spoon w Pine finial, England, 16th. cent.

The spoon very elegant with an oval bowl and the pine finial. Interestingly a clear makers mark of three spoons or keys in the upper side of the bowl. Made in Latten - an alloy of bronze.

Condition: Choice, remnants of old silvering on the bowl and mark from contemporary repiar during use on the handle.

A pair of hinese pottery tomb figures of well-situated Masters attendants dating to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figures wear different types of clothes and have different attributes, a shovel and a Ming Hat. The colours are beautyful cobolt blue and tourqoise.

Pigmented colours in red, white ad black.

Size: 22-23 cm in height. Very decorative smaller figures of a rare type.

A high quality very large pottery figure of a female attendant or official, dating to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint with a lotus throne and wears a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.

The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period.

IMPORTANT EARLY BAROQUE GERMAN PEWTER TANKARD, ADORNED WITH A NOBLES CREST AND DATED 1673!

A huge tankard or pitcher nearly 35 cm. high and 16 cm. wide across the base.

The vessel is decorated with a heart in high relief on the side, the heart-shaped lid engraved with a nobles crest (coat of arms), in the center a renaissance closed military helmed and an eagles head below.

The handle with three readable stamps; an eagle, a figure and the date 1673...

Finely incised and decorated bowl in green and brown.

Pottery decorated with incised designs and splashed colored glazes like this was popular in most areas of the Islamic world. This bowl belongs to a group of ceramics usually described as Bamiyan and found in Afghanistan, there is no archaeological evidence that they were produced there.
