An interesting and beautiful bifacial seal, New Kingdom, reign of Amenhoteb the III, 14th. century BC.

The seal carved in brown steatite. A commemorative seal with one side dedicated to father of Amenhoteb II, Thutmosis III and engraved with his cartouche and throne name. The other side engraved with the name of Amenhoteb twice.

Size: 20 x 16 mm.

Condition: Extremely fine, nice patina and light deposits in the devices.

A very large amulet of the Wedjat or Wadjet type, 'The Eye of Ra', Late period, 660-332 BC.

Nicely glazed in three differnet colors and with horisontically drilled loop.

Size: 53 mm. long and 33 mm. tall.

Condition: About Very Fine, basically intact but with minor losses and wear to the glaze.

Ex German private collection T.R. (Düsseldorf before 1983). Comes with COA.

An interesting and very rare Wedjat Eye amulet in the openwork design and inscribed on the back with the cartouche of Cartouche of Maatkare (Hatshepsut), New Kingdom, ca. 1479–1458 B.C.

These Eye of Ra amulets are very rarely inscribed with cartouches on the back. This particular amulet is also of special interest since it bears the name of greatest female ruler in the history of the Dynasties, Hatshepsut.

A finely detailed and attractive glazed steatite stone amulet of the Dwarf-god Bes, Egyptian Late period, 660-332 BC.

The figure depicted naked with tall headdress and a loop at the back, light glossy stone with remnants of green glaze in the devices.

Size: 25 mm.

Condition: very fine, a few small chips, attractive!

A large 62 cm. necklace with modern stringing of miltiple long faience beads in Egyptian blue (Lapis lazuli colour), torquise blue and green colours, c. 2nd. mill. BC.

A finely engraved Hyksos scarab, 17th.-16th. cent. BC.

The scarab is engraved with robe pattern in the center and with other hieroglyphs to each side, untranslated.

The seat of power of the Hyksos kings was the city of Avaris in the Nile Delta, from where they ruled over Lower Egypt and Middle Egypt up to Cusae.

Size: 19 x 13,5 mm.

Condition: Nice Very fine and completely intact with remnants of torquise glaze in the devices.

A lovely large scarab, probably made in Canaanite lands of the Levante, Early New Kingdom 16th.-15th. century BC.

A beautiful carving of a large Lion attacking a rather small feeble Human with a spear. The Lion is here probably meant to represent the Pharao and the human, could be a Levantine warrior? Very well carved base and with carvings on the back as well.

Size: 22 x 15 mm.

Condition: Near Very fine, large ancient ding to the back as seen in the pictures...

Nice and scarce scarab of the New Kingdom, 16th. century BC- 11th. century BC.

Interesting depiction of the great Pharao wrestling with two animals on either side, hieroglyphs at the top and below.

Size: c. 18,5 mm. long and 13 mm. wide.

Condition: Very fine, small chip to the edge of the base, othervise intact. Strange beady object, placed into the right eye of the beetle, probably in antiquity!

A wonderful symethric style scarab of stylized form, Second Intermediate Period, Hyksos Period, Dynasty 15th -17th. 1786 – 1650 BC.

Typical Hyksos type with globular pattern.

Condition: Very fine, intact with minor wear and fine patination.

Two-finger amulets were used for the dead and were often found on the lower left of the torso. This is the area of the incision that was made during the mummification process in order to remove the internal organs. These amulets were meant magically to heal the wound...

A nice intact carved pendant in green-brown stone, with the stone aiming to imitate rolled papyrus.

The scroll is widest at the top, where there is a neck below the for suspension. The base tapers into a softened point.

A large writing tablet amulet in stone, probably a type of feldspar, 664 - 332 BC.

Size: 32 mm. tall.

Amulets in the form of a writing tablet are unique to the Twenty-Sixth Dynasty and later. They are always rectangular in shape with a suspension tube at the top and made from green, blue, or dark-colored material, feldspar being by far the most common.

Condition: Good Very fine, intact.

A beqautiful intact hardstone Djet Pillar Amulet, Egypt, Late Period, c. 660-332 BC.

Finely carved and polished in a warm redish stone. It is associated with the creator god Ptah and Osiris, the Egyptian god of the afterlife, the underworld, and the dead. It is commonly understood to represent his spine. The Djet is a symbol of stability

A finely incised Beetle scarab of a more naturalistic form with detailed engraving of the Beetle itself, New Kingdom, c. 1539–1075 BC.

Interesting engraving on the base with a large Ankh hieroglyphs that looks to have legs and is walking towards another elongated figural sign.

Condition: Very fine, intact with much wear to the glaze, attractive patina!
