Interesting intact vessel, in the shape of a pointy garlanded Amphora and with a loop on the back to carry it.

A utilitarian, buff vessel with a wide, well-defined shoulder, a round, slightly flared foot, a conical neck, a thick mouth, and a ribbed strap handle. The lagynos is an ancient form designed to hold oil (in smaller form) or, as this one, wine. This is a beautiful example of a rare form.

A beautiful ancient Greek Apulian net Lekythos, dating to approximately 350 B.C.

The bottle with disc base, spherical body, elegant neck and collared rim, a small loop handle arches from the neck to the shoulder of the piece. Decorated with black net pattern.

Pieces such as this were used for storing perfumes and othe valuable cosmetics in antiquity.

Unusual dish with a series of many circles inside the dish in light brown as well as on the rim. The back also painted in brown circles. A very attractive and large dish!
