A very large and heavy Alabaster bowl or dish, Egyptian, Coptic workmanship, 1st. cent. BC - 1st. century AD.

Incredible piece carved in one piece of Alabaster as a dish or food bowl. The surfaces scarred and completely patina and smaller old chips to the rim done in antiquity.

Size: 26 cm. wide and ca. 6 cm. high, weighing 3,25 kilograms!

A fine Islamic bronze figure, Seljuks of Egypt, 11th.-12th. century AD.

The figure is from a private Düsseldorph (German) collection and was bought in Egypt in the 1950s. A fine rendering of a horse for the often very crude type.

Size: 5,3 cm. long and 4,5 cm. high.

Condition: Choice and fully intact with a flaw from the casting at one side. Fine green patina. The horse stands perfectly on a base, ready to display.

The islamic bronze mirrors were typically made in the Chinese style of the Han Period with added islamic elements. This mirror is large and with a recessed face and undecorated back. Small loss to the handle.

A very attractive and quite rare specimen of an ancient Bow-mans / Archers thumb ring in silver, 1st. millenium BC.

These rings are normally only found in bronze and we bought this a bronze ring, but while inspecting closer we discovered that it's in silver and just heavily patinated!

Size: A large thumb-ring measuring around 26 mm. in inner height, slightly less wide.

Condition: Choice! Heavy black patina that could be cleaned to the beautiful pure silver...
