A wonderful compact and finely made bronze spear, Neo-Assyrian, ca. 900-600 BC.

This spear point of a very advanced weapons type for antiquity with slight variation also used by the greeks and late European bronze age; a blade with a strongly pronounced mid-rib for strenghtening the trust, a re-enforced folded and hammered socket, made to take a big pole.

Size: 22,5 cm.

An important bronze lance with engraved glyphs near the blade, Turmenistan / North Eastern Persia, ca. 1000-600 BC.

A very elaborate and efficient bronze weapon, a sharp leafshaped and very deadly blade, hammered from a trapezoid long shaft which evolves into another rectangular part of the shaft, and ends in a fishtail finial with line engravings. This last small part was likely the tang of the weapon, which would have been inserted in the pole in antiquity...

A massive ancient Near East bronze lance, ca. 1500-1000 BC.

Caspian Sea area, likely Turkmenistan. The largest bronze lance we've had for 20 years with it's 55 cm.

The lance with a very long folded and hammered socket, still with original content inside. Blade with a raised midsection.

A highly interesting piece for it's size alone, very impressive in hand.

Condition: Very nice, intact with minor losses to the blade, as seen in the pictures...

The axe or adze heavy for it's size broad with 'hanging' edge and another horisontal edge at the rear.

Size: 10 cm. long and more than 4 cm. wide, 6 cm. tall. Weight is nearly 500 grams.
