An nice larger mirror in bronze, Islamic, Likely Khorassan in Perisa, 10th.-12th. century AD.

The islamic bronze mirrors were typically made in the Chinese style of the Han Period with added islamic elements. This mirror is large and with a recessed face and undecorated back. Small loss to the handle.

A very attractive and quite rare specimen of an ancient Bow-mans / Archers thumb ring in silver, 1st. millenium BC.

These rings are normally only found in bronze and we bought this a bronze ring, but while inspecting closer we discovered that it's in silver and just heavily patinated!

Size: A large thumb-ring measuring around 26 mm. in inner height, slightly less wide.

Condition: Choice! Heavy black patina that could be cleaned to the beautiful pure silver...

An exceptional and very large Iron ring, Assyrian or Persian, ca. late 2nd.-1st. milenium BC.

A penannular silver hoop with butted ends and engraved with dots all over the surface and decorative lines at the edges.

A very masculine ring, likely made for a bowman. Made in iron, which at the period in the early ironage was the most precious of metals, beside gold.

Ringsize: ca. 22 mm. and fully wearable.

Weight: 30,76 grams.

RARE AND BEAUTIFUL 'MASTER OF BEAST' STANDARD, RELATED TO THE MYTH OF GILGAMESH, LURISTAN, CA. 1200-800 BC.

The standard shows a Gilgamesh representation with an animal head on each shoulder, promenent nose and headdress, perhaps a female representation. Prominent bottom and what looks like small breasts and arms in front.

A MARVELOUS BRONZE DISH OR FLAT BOWL, ACHAEMENID / GREEK, 600-400 BC.

The Omphallos bowls were popular in the whole greek-persian work in the mid 1st. millenium BC.

This particular specimen is very though: A completely flat base, like the base of a dish and comparatively high straight walls and a fine Omphallos knob in the center sorrounded by four circles.

A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE BRONZE FINIAL, LURISTAN, 2ND.-1ST. MILLENIUM BC.

A solid cone-shaped finial with a loop and on top a rooster. We thought at first it was a Bell, but the three attachment-holes in the corpus, suggests that this was functioning as a finial, perhaps for a horse-drawn vehicle or furniture.

Size: 12,5 cm. high, weighing 231 grams. Condition: Superb, uncleaned and will clean up to a masterpiece in green and brown patina, if anyone would have the patience...
