An interesting and seldomly if ever seen head of a Parthian, Roman, 1st. century BC-1st. century AD.

Parthia was the great enemy of Rome in the 1st. century BC and up to the 2nd. century AD. This head is from Later Republic or Early Imperial periods and depicts a Pathian, well-modelled with bearded features and the Parthian hood.

Size: 6,6 cm. incl. the lucite base, 4,4 cm. for the head alone.

Beautiful fine quality piece decorated with wine and grapes, central rosette, knob handle. This Makers mark was used in the later part of the 1st. century AD, but it's the first time we've seen it with distict toes as well.

Outstanding example of a Megarian bowl dating from the Hellenistic Period during which much of the Aegean and Western Asia were under the influence of Alexander the Great.

The bowl in red terracotta made in an elegant thin-walled style and ornately decorated with a pattern of symethric floral decoration in high relief, mold made. A Theatre Mask in the center is a very fine and scarce feature of this specific bowl.
