A beautiful naturalistic pottery Ram in white clay with straw-glaze. Quite Scarcely seen from this Dynasty and in perfect condtiion.

The figure well-proportioned and finely glaced with good details. The glace in white (Wool-colour) and bright green on the horns.

Ming Dynasty figures of attendants are fairly common and comes in a variety of styles and periods, domestic animals are on the other hand, very scarcely seen. The current group that we sell is the first that we ever had in 20 years!

An extremely rare and interesting figural group of the Dying Buddha, Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Tomb pottery, dating to the 15th.-16th. century AD.

Here buddha is lying on a very large ornate bed, resting his head on a pillow and has just expired and looks like he is sleeping. Behind him on the bed is three Acolytes tending him in a gender way, while four other Acolytes are standing with twisted faces in mourning...

A scarce and beautiful Chinese pottery tomb figure of a female rider / Attendant on horseback holding a string instrument. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is finely glazed in cobalt blue and turqoise colors. Pigmented colours in red, white ad black.

She has an elaborate high headdress and was made with many finely painted details, high quality.

This vessel is very early so rare in this size and intact condition: In redish terracotta with three legs and two looped handles.
