Lovely figure of a Buddhist Guardian Deity, Tibetan Qing Dynasty.

An ornate figure with crown and jevellery, holding the thunderbolt in his right hand about to strike, small figure between his spread legs. A opening at his back stamped with a Tibetan letter. He is standing on a double Lotus Throne, base sealed with a cobber seal stamped with the Varja symbol.

Size: 10,2 cm.

Condition: Choice, some wear to gilt with remaining pigment.

Rare Tibetan Buddhist Gilt Bronze Arhat Heads Ritual Necklace, later Qing Dynasty, 1386-1644 AD.

A spectacular necklace, the heads possible quite a bit older than the embroidered fabric.

The heads very detailed and splendid with the fine gilding and painted colours.

Size: 85-90 cm. in two rows and some 13 heads mounted. The largest being the center head below.

Condition: Choice, fine patina.

GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF DAMCHEN GARWA NAGPO, TIBET, 19TH CENTURY.

He is seated sideways on a goat, wearing robes with billowing sleeves, the face with wrathful expression topped by a wide-brimmed hat, the billy goat with pigment in hair.

Below in the belly of the goat a small opening covered by a cobberplate.

A lifesize Sino-Tibetan bronze or cobber model of a Skull, dating to the Qing Dynasty, later 19th. century.

Made in solid bronze or copper, cast from a real skull and gilted with a very thick layer of gold.

Old and rare, from Buddhist / Tibetan rituals.

A beautyful, antique Tibetan woodden Gau or prayer box. A small shrine for religious festivals and prayer niches of the family home.

The small glass window at the front displays a Tsa tsa, which is a clay statue of a Buddhist Diety.

These statues were made only by the monks and considered to be a holy relic.

An exceptional gem of a standing Deity figure group, Sino-Tibetan, ca. 18th. century or slightly later.

The 3-headed figure is standing with his consort in his arms on a Lotus Throne. He is wearing a crown with multible sculls.

A finely detailed and gilt Antique figure of Buddha, likely 19th. century or earlier.

The Buddha seated on a double Lotus throne with fine details of crown and robe and a nice expression. The figure sealed with a red patinated cobber seal engraved with the double Varja.

A very rare and interesting Mask of Mahakala, dating to the 18th.-19th. century AD.

The mask with characteristics typical of the Buddhist iconography of wrathful deities. It's completely covered with small decorated round bronze plaques on the surface, along with seated bronze buddhas and semi precious stones inserted.

An extremely rare and very old mask!
