A beautiful impressive 20 Tical bronze Opium Weight in the shape of a To or Chinthe (beast with Lion and Dog features), issued during King Bodawpayas War campaign from ca. 1782 AD.

Elaborately made in fine high tin content bronze, that gives the surface a slight silvery shine. Small 9-rayed mark on the side.

Weight: 20 tical, ca. 321 grams

We haven't ever seen these peculiar types for sale. Both in high tin alloys; one with 8 or 9 point value marks on the round base, the other with weight adjustment marks below the square base.
