A very interesting set of two exceedingly rare laotian or Lanna bronze opium weights of birds, ca. 18th. century.

We haven't ever seen these peculiar types for sale. Both in high tin alloys; one with 8 or 9 point value marks on the round base, the other with weight adjustment marks below the square base.

Beautifully patinated and both looks like 18th. century weights but could early 19th. century.
