An interesting selection of sea-life in the early period, from c. Devonian period 400 mio. years ago or somewhat later, all now of stone and stable.

Large Devonian trilobit, 6,6 cm. and 55.38 grams! An even larger snail like creature in a beautiful mother of pearlish house, measuring 6,3 vm. wide and 5,3 cm tall. Mounted on a lucite base, c. 130 grams! A large fragmentary snail-house (59,67 grams), and three good looking smaller snails as a well as a clamp / muzzle...

A nice set of three lovely laquered and stamped silver bar coins, Thailand, c. 16th.-17th. cent. and a Laotian 'Canoe' money bar in silver-bronze, c. 1707-1889 AD.

The Laos Canoe money weighs 113.5 grams and the three Thai silver coins, 58.48 gr., 49,34 gr. and 65.31 gr., so it's probably same issue but different dating, in the 16th.-17th. century.

A superb gilt and coloured parchment leaf from a religious work, France, c. 1450.

Han-written page with the tiniest details and among the finest we've had ever of the early type from the late medieval period of the 15th. century. The decorations includes lavish use of leaf gold to highlight letters.

A nice large silver thaler, German Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Celle 1631.

A beautiful and very sharp German silver thaler, from Saxony or Sachsen 1638.

Dav 7601 (scarce in this quality!)

Condition: Finely toned, EF, flan flaw at 10, uncleaned reverse.

obv. Castle with three towers and open doors and risen porticullis (arms of Hamburg) with date (1-6-2-1) split between towers within circle of beads. In outer circle the legend MONETA•NOVA•CIVITATIS•HAMBURGENSIS• and fist with tinhook

rev. Crown above double-headed eagle with value in shillings (32) on breast within circle of beads...

A lovely chestnut brown patinated plate coin 1/2 daler 1716 from Karl the XII (1697-1718).

These platecoins are very seldomly this nice: Finely struck stamps, wonderful metal and a fine patina. Bears an old 1980s-1990s pricetag of 6800 d. kr.

Size: 10,5 cm. in diameter and weighing ca. 370 grams.

A very rare and complete antique license document, Spanish and signed by the Spanish King Philip the IV (Ruler 1621-1665).

The document is binded with 8/16 pages with 14 decorated or with signatures (let us know if you like to receive pictures of all pages by e-mail). We would like to stress the importance of the document which signed by no less than 15-20 signatures, besides the signature of Philip himself...
