Darkage-Viking silver pendant in a Lunar or crecent shape with a loop, c. 600-900 AD.

Attractive and wearable today with decorations on the surface.

A wonderful group of previously unlisted ancient seal and jewelry rings, inc. Roman, darkage, Byzantine and Islamic types, c. 400-1000 AD.

Interesting and attractive gold Quatrefoil openwork pendant with small loop at one side and an engraved cross in the center, Roman-Darkage c. 4th.-6th. cent. BC.

A heavy hanger, very attractive. The gold is almost pure and around 22 carats or so. The central cross was deliberately erased at one point in antiquity, which could have been done by pagans / romans in the late antiquity.

Size: 19-20 mm. in diameter and weighing a solid 3.45 grams.

A lovely substantial Persian stoneware bowl, late 12th or 13th century AD

Stoneware under an opaque turquoise and cobalt glaze with floral design and markings in black. Wonderful 'grazing' of the glaze and with irriscence.

Diameter: 21,52 cm. and 10,2 cm. tall.

Condition: Near Extremely fine for type, completely intact with small area of touched up glaze on the back. No repairs and exceptional gloss and patina.

A beautiful larger Persian ceramic vase, late 12th or 13th century AD

Ceramic ware under an opaque cobalt blue glaze and black markings, the surface with a spiders-web of golding irridescence!

Size: c. 19 cm. tall and 19 cm. wide, a substantial piece in hand.

Condition: Good Very fine for the type, almost 100% original glaze, perhaps some minor restaration to the lip of the rim, we're not 100% certain.

Collection of Late Antiquity clay lamps. Eastern Mediterranean and biblical! Among them a scarce and beautiful frog lamp (length 8,7cm). 19 pieces!

Condition: F-VF, Weathered and with some smaller missing fragments, overall well preserved.

The scarce figural forpart of an early medieval bronze cross encolpion, Byzantine, c. 8th. cent. BC.

The cross decorated with Virgin Mary holding child Jesus, with portraits on each arm of the cross. Loop at the top, and thus wearable.

Condition: Nicely preserved obverse part of the Encolpion, smooth wear from use and nice dark green patina.

Interesting solid silver Encolpion cross with loop Early European, probably Lombard Kingdom, c. 7th.-8th. century.

The cross engraved with a standing nimbate figure holding a crucifix in his left hand, and on the reberse another small nimbate figure; No less than four Cross pattées, and the symbols of the Sun and the Moon on the reverse as well.

A high quality Greek icon from the secluded Monastery of Athos, Greece, sealed and dated 1892.

Icon with Hodegetria. Tempera on chalk ground. Wooden panel. Gilded nimbs, ancient Greek inscriptions. Rare light colouring and with the wonderful makers seal of the Athos Monastery on reverse, recessed into the wood.

An extremely rare bronze Cauldron, probably Flemish or Northern European workshop, c. 13th.-14th. century AD.

Cauldrons prior to the 16th. century are very rarely seen on the market. This cauldron is excarvated and covered in the most beautiful patina.
