A fine Chinese neolithic jade axe, ca. 5th. millenium BC.

Sometimes described as from the period of Hongshan, this type of axe should date as early as 5000-4000 BC.

A rare and massive pair of Ming Dynasty pottery royalty chairs or thrones, dating to 1368-1644 AD.

The thrones are placed on podiums with hassocs in front of them. Both have back- and arm-rest, and are covered with hides of tigers - in pottery of course.

The chairs and the podium are covered with beautiful blue and turquoise glaze. The orange and black colors are pigmented - very fragile, but with much remaining.
