A fine quality North-European bronze Skillet, dating to 16th.-17th. century AD.

A finely made vessel for heating something over fire. The vessel shaped as a tripod with a socket for a handle of wood.

From an old Estate, we recently purchased one of the earliest Cauldrons, we've handled, North European, likely Germany, ca. 16th. century AD.

The cauldron of the old bronze alloy, used in the period pre 1700s. It has two handles and stands on three short legs. Looks like it has a makers mark on the side and one leg was reenforced in the period. Signs of heavy use and beautiful smooth surfaces with fine brown patina.

Size: 22 cm. wide and ca. 17 cm. high.

An early and very beautiful painted Mangle board, Denmark, dating 1816.

The mangle board (sometimes called mangling board or smoothing board) is one of the most time-typical and interesting objects of folk art, this old domestic implement was used to press or smooth laundry after washing.

A Spanish-Islamic bronze mortar, 16th. century or slightly earlier.

This is a very large and thus unusual specimen of a type made up to the 17th. century or so.

The globular body of the mortar with a row of raised prunts below bands, raised round base and lip flattened and turned inwards.

A very attractive mortar with a wonderful brown collection patina!

Size: ca. 12,5 cm. wide and c. 9,5 cm. high. Weight: ca. 1,1-1,2 kilograms grams.

A rare and very nice Assigned and dated bronze Mortar of Johannes Rall, Germany 1716.

Johannes Rall is likely a German Citizen of the city Eningen (AD 1664-1736). A finely made Mortar with original Pestle. The Mortar is inscribed with Johannes Rall along the Rim and there's a centrally placed Medallion or Crest, flanked by two birds

Size: 12 cm. high and quite massive, the Pestle is 20 cm long.

A very rare candlestick with Coat of Arms, dating to the later part of the 16th. century.

The Candlestick is sold as a repair project, since the upperpart is not firmly attached to the lower bell-shaped part.

A terrific Early European antique, that is blessed with a fine Coat Of Arms engraved in the upperpart (see closeups). The piece is also engraved with some initials.

A beautiful engraved and large beaker with an extrafine decoration, consisting of vertical lines, framed with double concenthric lines on the body; with two beautifully engraved Floral medallions and another central medallion, engraved with P.F.S.S / Z.F.D.S and below the inscription with 1704. Our earliest silver Beaker - made in the Baroque period, dated and stamped with the Year 1693, Danish (Copenhagen stamp with three towers).

A beautiful engraved cup with dotted decoration on the body and with a central medallion engraved with CSS:KLD and below the dating 1693. The rim which is engraved with the letters PCS - ARD and the dating 1696. In the bottom also a dating (1693 and other silver stamps.

Perhaps misleading to call this large Baroque Silver vessel, a beaker, it could be used as a vase. A rare and absolutely stunning Silver beaker, Nothern Europe, possible made as a birth gift, dated 1706.

The beaker very attractive and with a partucularly fine dotted decoration of the body, initialized with the letters PRS:OBL and the dating 1706 below, all in a round medallion. There's two other medallions with floral engravings in symethric intervals on the body.

An late renaissance or baroque period Iron Padlock, European, ca. 16th.-17th. century.

Cast and wrought lock. Very beautiful with an arched moveable part and a keyhole at one end. The lock was cobber braized or plated in the renaissance manor and much cobber can still be spotted in parts of the surface (see pictures).
