A rare precolumbian stone carving of a Frog is near lifesize, Mayan Culture, ca. 500 BC-900 AD, and most possible dating to the Pre-Classical period, pre 250 BC.

The Frog finely polished in a dark green stone with lighter green inclusions. The Frog with finely outlined legs, mouth and eyes, a nice piece in any collection and easily $500+ worth in the right venue.

Size: 60 mm. long and 48 mm. wide. Weight is 83,5 grams so a substantial piece.
