A large and beautiful Egyptian Steatite Scarab, mid 2nd. millenium BC-Late Period.

Interesting piece with the double Uraeus or rearing Cobra snake in high relief.

The Uraeus was used as a symbol of sovereignty, royalty, deity and divine authority in ancient Egypt. The pharaoh was recognized only by wearing the Uraeus, which conveyed legitimacy to the ruler. There is evidence for this tradition even in the Old Kingdom during the third millennium BC.

Exceptional seal, used in a Tibetan monastery while Europe was medieval. A large seal carved in a beige brown stone, in the typical style of the period, inscribed on the seal itself.

Very impressive huge seal ring in solid silver, made in the Middle-Assyrian period, 14th.-11th. century BC.

By far the largest antique Sino-Tibetan seal we've handled and very old, Qing Dynasty, 18th. century.

A beautiful tall seal in seperate sections, done in bronze and foliage silver with the engraved seal plate done in iron.

The entire surface done with floral and symethric foliage engravings, with two birds at the top (handle) and with a snake and 4-legged animals at the bottom. Pierced horisontically.

An exceptional quality large Almandine Lion pendant set in an authentic Almandine necklace, 1st. millenium BC.

The amulet / pendant is surely from the Achaemenid Empire, approx 8th.-6th. century BC.

Secured with a later collar of gold granulation, within a restrung necklace of garnet beads with spherical carnelian ends; modern clasp. The lion finely carved and polished and the Almandine beads polished in natural forms.

A very attractive and substantial Udjat Eye Amulet, Egyptian, 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

At the time of the making Lapis Lazuli was a very expensive stone, imported from Afghanistan in antiquity and so very scarce. So this Udjat amulet is rare by any standards and also well-carved with the eye itself detailed.
