Interesting and rare stamp seal in a white stone perhaps calsite, Levantine / Anatolian, 1st. millenium BC.

Widely used on Sassanian seals but rarely seen on earlier stamp seals, here's a finely detailed Scorpio on the base of a seal with knob handle typical for the Levante and Anatolia in the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

Condition: Intact, with some corrosion of the material, fine ancient patina.

Interesting red stone, possible Jasper, Scaraboid stamp seal, Levantine, Phoenician, ca. 800-500 BC.

A beautiful Scarab seal, made after Egyptian inspiration, Egyptian art was heavily imitated by the Phoenicians of the Levante and elsewhere in the mid 1st. millenium BC.

In the case the scarab is resting on a stepped podium and Pseudo-Hieroglyphs engraved on the base.
