A carefully formed thick firestone in a fine grained stone.
On one side there are traces of use, where sparks were struck to light fires, in combination with an iron striker.
Unusually large measuring 14,5 cm. in length. It's perfectly carved as an oval with a groove in the middle to be carried in a rope. It's finely grinded and polished in an attractive brown hardstone.
Such firestones are typically, if rarely, found in sacrifical bogland sites where defeated enemy equipment was ritually deposite.
