A scarce and beautiful Chinese pottery tomb figure of a female horserider. An attendant on horseback carrying a scarf in her right hand.
The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
The figure is finely glazed in cobalt blue and turquoise colors. Pigmented colours in red, white ad black.
The attachable head feature a beaytyful hairdress with many finely painted details.
Size: 34 cm high and 27-28 cm. long - a massive figure!
Condition: Nearly suberb, intact and in very good condition for the type, considering age and wear.
