A rare and large pottery figure of an attendant holding a bucket in front of his chest.
The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
He is placed on a square plint and wears a hat on his head. He is clad in a robe over a shirt. Shirt and coat are are colored in beautiful the two-colour blue and tourqouise glaze. Pigmented details in black and white colors.
An impressive and large Ming Dynasty pottery figure with very fine details.
Size: c. 32 cm high and 12 cm wide. The figure weighs 1,6 kg. on the kitchenweight.
Condition: Choice. Completely intact, but with a few smaller chips to the bucket and the robe. Wear for age and type.
