A beautiful terracotta figure of a naked Satyr, perhaps Pan, standing in an erotic pose, Egypt under the Romans, 1st. cent. BC - 1st. century AD.

Though not large the figure is so well-modelled in a great Classical style, that it's one the best terracottas we've seen for a long time!

Size: 8 cm. tall for the figure in it self.

Condition: Choice fragment, losses to lower part of legs, othervise intact.

Ex. Dr. Lammers special Egyptian collection, Hamburg, aquired prior to 1966.
