Finely detailed pottery figure of musician on horseback dating to the Chinese Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.
Very vivid figure with the horse turning the head. The rider wears a red hat and a dark blue coat or robe.
The mane, harness and the tail of the horse in matching tourquoise colored glaze.
He wears a musical instrument in his hand.
Unglazed areas are covered with pigmented colors in red, white and black. Fine facial features on the attachable head.
Size: ca. 26-27 cm. high and ca. 25 cm. wide. (c. 10,4 x 10,2 inches).
Condition: Nearly superb with wear for age and type.
