A choice 5 Tical weight of a Late To or Chinthe type, Burma dating 1751-1785 AD.

A wonderfully detailed piece in the high Tin Content bronze that gives the surface a silvery shine. Octagonal base with 4 horisontical lines, 4-ray star mark, Antlerlike horns.

Weight: 79,7 grams

Probably released by Alaungpaya to promote his war against Prome, Toungao and Pego, according to Leif Bering Mikkelsen, reff. Mikkelsen ''Opium Weights'', page 132.

Condition: Condition: Choice, much smooth wear and a nice patina.
