Interesting lamp, very elaborately done for the later period, Carthage, Roman Northern Africa, 3rd.-4th. century.

The front depicts a stately man wearing a Toga, stading beside some object or construction. In red terractotta.

Size: 153 mm. long and 95 mm. wide! Among the largest Roman pottery lamps, we've sold ever, very unusual size.
