A lovely ritual knife (Tumi), Inca Empire of Peru, 13th.-15th. century AD.

The Tumi has as finial a detailed standing feline, likely a Jaguar/Panther. The blade widdens to a broad edge, sort of an axe shaped blade. Wonderful uncleaned state with very clear marks from the textile it was swept in.

Size: ca. 11 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice - very nice untouched state and fine metal.

Provenance: From 1960s in the private collection Westermann, Germany, comes with certificate.
