A choice smaller iron lock with a nice large iron key, perhaps from a door, South-German, early 17th. century.
A lock with flattened iron carved as stylized animals! Wonderful antique in a nice uncorroded condition with a fine collection patina. Nice tight locking mecanism! Still Useable for a door today.
Size: 16 cm. long. The key measure 10 cm. in length.
Provenance: Danish Private collection of Grethe Pedersen, Ledøje, Denmark, ca. 1950-1997. Purchased at Ole Jensen, Antique Dealer, 1969.Comes with documentation.
