A lot of three fine and rare pottery seals, Ancient Near East, likely Egypt, Early Islamic period 7th.-10th. century AD.
The lot includes a very rare depiction of a horned animal with a bird above, and two more depictions of a a building within a 5-rayed star and a floral or medallion shape. Two with loop handles on the back.
Sizes: From ca. 6,5 cm. to 7 cm. in diameter.
Condition: Choice! One seal with handle lost and minor ancient chips to the rim, the two other seals completely intact and superb pieces for the age and medium!
