An interesting, small collection of ancient pottery items from a range of cultures, incl. Greece and Rome, 600 BC-200 AD.
The collection consist of:
- a rare pottery sieve restored from several large pieces, Roman 1st.-3rd. century AD
- a large shard of pottery decorated with a high relief face of Appollon, Greek hellenistic period (fragmentary)
- A very large pottery sharp, which is a side of a mega-vessel, decorated with early Greek decoration, probably c. 600-400 BC
- Intact Roman spindle whorl, finely made
- An intact greek tomb pottery cone, undecorated
