Fine simplistic style of carving depicting a bird, probably a Crane with head tucked to the back.
The animal is carved in an exceptional glossy celadon stone with brown inclusions on the wings at the front side.
Size: 65 mm. long and quite substantial and heavy.
Condition: Superb and intact with a particularly surface with smooth wear, and old polishing.
Provenance: Egeskov Fine Arts, Ex. Kubera - Art Asiatique, George Porchet, Nice, France.
