An attractive belthook of a Ruyi sceptre form, made in fine celadon and apple green jadeite stone, Qing Dynasty, c. 1820-1890.

With openwork floral decoration on the sceptre. Finely carved and hand-polished into a perfect form with glossy surfaces.

Size: 68-69 mm. long and 34 grams heavy.

Condition: Superb.

Ex. Old Danish Estate collection of Tom Klitgaard, aquired 1960s-1990s. The collector handpicked particular fine jade pieces from auctions and dealers over a span of 30 years and he paid good money for them as well, so they are all kind of special.
