A wonderful ancient vessel that comes with a TL test made over 30 years ago. Moche / Mochica culture, c. 300-500 AD.
Beautiful larger vessel with spout and bow-shaped handle. Decorated in a beige on warm redish-brown with four sun symbols.
Size 22 cm. tall.
Condition: Nice Very fine, small chip to the rim of the spout, othervise completely intact. Some weathering as expected due to the high age.
This vessel comes with a TL test from Kotallas lab 1990, dating it as c. 1500 years old. (see picture).
Provenance: Heidi Vogelsandt, Darmstadt, prior to 1995.
