A finely carved piece from a specialist Danish collection. It is carved and pierced in the form of a vajra with well defined details. Very beatiful stone that goes from almost pure white to a pale greenish-white tone with brown inclusions. Probably Qing Dynasty, Sino-Tibetan style, 18th-19th. century but could somewhat later.
Size: 12 cm. long.
Condition: Extremely fine.
Ex. Old Danish Estate collection of Tom Klitgaard, aquired 1960s-1990s. The collector handpicked particular fine jade pieces from auctions and dealers over a span of 30 years and he paid good money for them as well, so they are all kind of special.
