Offered is an extremely rare to find Roman oil lamp depicting a horse with its very fine detail work on upper body, face and hair. This fabulous horse lamp belongs to the 1st century AD, is in pristine condition for its time and era, with a beautiful style and a nice original olive green patina all over. It measures 9 cm (3.5") x 4.2 cm (1.75") and weighs 142.50 grams.
