A nice Shakyamuni Marble Shan State Buddha touching the earth (subduing Mara) with nice detailed carving and some gilding, sitting on a lotus base. Condition very good, heavy object. Size: H. 18" x W. 11.5" x D. 7.5" (46 cm. x 29 cm. x 19 cm.) excluding stand. Comes mounted on a nice black stand.

A very rare THAI 18/19th Century Black & Gold Lacquered Bamboo container with scrolling and flowers. Top rim partially restored as can be seen in photos due to considerable age and climatic conditions. Gilding shows some wear. Overall in fair condition. Size: H. 12" x 13.5" diameter. A very rare and large 18th Century AMARAPURA Wooden BUDDHA, Burma, seated on a Lotus flower base, subduing Mara. Beautiful gilding on black lacquer patina and inlaid with small colored mirror pieces. Good overall condition. Left side of base (not the Buddha itself) has an inconsequential fissure due to the considerable age and climatic conditions. Size: H. 115 cm. x W. 70 cm. x D. 46 cm.

A delightful and rare Antique Chinese good quality Silver Pumpkin shape box, ca. 1840. Has intricate details and a leaf on top. Very good condition and workmanship, no repairs or alterations. Size: H. 4 cm. x 7 cm. diameter (1.5" x 2.75"). Bottom has clear pinpointed Chinese character mark.

An attractive antique cone shaped 6-piece Lacquer Food Offering Bowl from Burma, 19th Century. Good overall condition, some wear due to age. This type of handmade lacquer offering bowl has 6 compartments which are removable and were used to make merit by offering various kinds of food to the monks in the temples. Size: H. 40 cm. x 36 cm. diameter in the center.

A rare antique Cinnabar Red Lacquer Basket from Northern Thailand. 19th Century. A very labour intensive handmade procedure where woven and coiled bamboo and clay formed the base of this container. Furthermore, 6 ribs were bent and curved to form feet at the base. The top was curved and rolled inwards and many coats of lacquer were applied over and over after drying each one. Overall condition good, some wear, size: 17.5 cm. height x 38 cm. top diameter, 24 cm. bottom diameter.
