A Gorgeous LARGE and RARE Genuine Hand Forged LANNA "SALUNG" NORTHERN THAI SILVER CEREMONIAL OFFERING BOWL, late 19th Century. Base engraved with octagon Star as well as Buddhist Year. Stamped: 31 baht weight. Size: height 13 cm x 23 cm diameter. Silver Weight 463 gr. This exquisite design/pattern is very seldom found and offered for sale!

A very rare and superb hand made genuine QING DYNASTY SILVER BOWL, with extensive open carving work and depicting the Dragons chasing the flaming Pearl. The base is stamped by a Chinese Hallmark: "SS, followed by a Chinese Character and 90, SUN SHING" as shown in one of the photographs, ca. 1900. Weight: 199 gr. excluding the inset glass bowl. Size: height 7.6 cm. x 13.5 cm. diameter. This silver bowl also has a later added glass inset bowl, which can be removed for easy cleaning!
