Very fine and rare KANGXI (1662-1722) Blue & White Porcelain Stem Bowl depicting foilage, butterflies, an egret, flowers and lotus with a center medallion. Flared rim with a Lingzhi head design. Double circles mark on base and surrounding the medallion. Excellent condition, no chips, hairlines or restorations. Size: H. 8 cm. x 18.5 cm diameter. Elegant proportions.

An important and rare KANGXI Period Blue & White KLAPMUTS Porcelain Bowl potted with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim. The exterior depicts a delightful landscape scene with children and maidens possibly at the "Yuan Xiao" Lantern Festival. The interior of the bowl has a scene with a playful boy throwing a good luck fire cracker in the center and is decorated with a Lingzhi flared border design. The foot of the bowl is also flared and has a double circle...

Rare 16/17th Century Sandstone Post Pagan AVA Bodhisattva with white primary on gray patina. Band under topknot missing, but intact on back side of head. Nicely mounted. Size: H. 18 cm. x W. 11 cm. x D. 8 cm. excluding stand.

Splendid Lanna Thai Wooden Buddha with original gilding seated on an elaborately decorated throne. Very serene/calm expression. The Buddha is seated in the Vajrasana position with the right hand in the gesture of touching the Earth (bhumisparsa mudra) and the left hand rests in the gesture of meditation (dhyana mudra). Fine and rare example of Northern Thai Buddhist art which displays an elegant smartness and is well proportioned. Excellent condition and beautiful patina, no restorations...

Superior quality wooden Opium Pipe with Jade end and mouthpiece. 19th Century, China. Paktong, copper and brass saddle depicting bats and finely inlaid with various cabochons (colors are green, orange, red, gray and blue). A nice stoneware original bowl which is clearly marked. Very good condition and no restorations. Size: 21.5" (53.5cm) long. Provenance: Serious French Collector's Estate.

Finely sculptured Ganesha bronze from West India, 17th Century, surrounded by a stylized aura ring, topped by a divine protective head and a beautiful engraved lotus flower base. This figure shows prolonged Puja (worship to the object) and a naturally formed patina. Very good condition, large size: H. 6.5" (11 cm.) Provenance: European Private Collection.

Rare and slender Silver/Paktong Opium Pipe, QING Dynasty. The damper/bowl is in the shape of a poppy/opium bulb and is held by a hand. This hand holding the bulb/damper has a very distinct double fish engraved on it's base which in Feng Shui is the symbol of wealth, abundance and attracting good luck (see photograph #4). Very rare and fine JIN DYNASTY Terracotta Tomb Brick Panel depicting a festive male drummer with flowing robes playing the waist drum (1115-1234 A.D), China. The waist drum with it's hourglass shape and cloth covering was tied to the players waist to allow him to move freely, without hindrance. It was an instrument of choice for dancers. In Shanxi, a waist drum dance dating back some 2000 years is still practiced today...
