A very rare HAN DYNASTY 3-legged Chinese Jade FENG-SHUI Seal-Chop found during excavations. Light blue, green and white colors/striations with calcification from many years of burial (tomb). The 3 legs of the money toad symbolize the Holy trinity of heaven, earth and humankind. In Chinese Feng-Shui culture it represents the lunar YIN energy, immortality, healing, money and fortune. It is called Chan Chu or Jin Chan and is considered the most powerful of Chinese wealth symbols. There are 2 large carved characters/symbols on the bottom of this rare stone seal chop (see photo # 2). The eyes, nose and mouth of this money toad are prominently carved. Good overall condition, no chips or restorations whatsoever. Size: 6 x 6 cm. x 4 cm. height.
