This is a finely made, hand painted, artist signed Japanese Edo (first part 19th century) Gosu Blue Satsuma Teapot Satsuma detailed painting of flowering plants and a butterfly on one side and two pheasants and floral decorations on the opposite side. A neck, nose and a bottom of Teapot show symbolic decorations as well as the top of a lid. There is an air release hole next to the final of the Teapot.The dimensions are 4.5 inches tall, 5 3/4 inches wide.

This is a museum quality Japanese white Satsuma Incense Burner with an okimono of a boy with a drum, seated on top of a sphere (as a lid).
