This is a top quality Japanese cobalt blue Satsuma Vase with handles. The Vase is finely decorated with two shields which depict seven samurai (one is on a horse), and a scene of three aristocrats, twelve people, five children, a dog , and a landscape with mt. Fuji. The cobalt blue background is decorated with silver and two tone gold floral decorations. It measures 5.2 inches tall by 3 .2 inches in Diameter. The Vase dates 19th century, Meiji, Japan.

Big rare to find flask-shaped Satsuma vase attributed to Chin Jukan XII. It features two big decorative panels with samurai, a table and scrolls.
