Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Studio Satsuma Vase attributed to Ito Tozan. The Vase depicts 11 mon-shaped raised- enamel floral decorations over a black enamel background, and butterflies made with the same technique on the vase's neck. Symbolic decorations are on the bottom of the vase. The upper rim is made with gilded Greek- keys decorations. 9 3/4" tall x 6 3/4" D.
