Museum quality Japanese Edo Period (first part 19th century) unusually shaped and decorated partly glazed tripod Pottery Ewer with Cinnabar -like red lacquer relief decorations. The Teapot is attributed to Hozan. It has an original old piece of paper(dated 1914) attached to the bottom of the Ewer. It is in excellent condition with a minimum wear to the edges; no losses or damages. 6 3/4" tall x 6 1/2" wide

Gorgeous Japanese Meiji Period(1868-1912) Sumida Gawa partly glazed persimmon-shaped Teapot with finely detailed three monkeys; the lid and a nose are in a shape of leaves. It has an original handle.
