This is a magnificent Palace Size Pair of Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) blue and white SETO vases with handles. The Vases are of a high quality hand-painting. They have blue and white decorations of flying cranes around handles; four flying birds and a few seated pheasants, and floral decorations; there are also panoramic shileds with various decorations. The vases's mouthes also have decorations,
The vases have some micro chockal "flakes" to glazing which are a good proof of an early kiln origin (19th century).
The vases are both in excellent condition with no losses or damages.
These vases can be displayed as a garniture with the Jar listed under trocadero #104943918 1/2" tall x 8 1/4" D each.
