This is a magnificent Palace size Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Ko-Kutani Vase with two handles in a shape of foo-dogs.The vase has beautiful hand-painted decorations with partly gilded elements, and wonderful round panoramic scrolls with a temple, houses, people, a boat, a bridge , a river and tree with mountains. It has a Kutani green silk mark on the bottom .
There are a few original under-glazed "bake" short hairlines on the edge (which are typical for heavy vase like this one). Otherwise, it is in excellent original condition with no losses, no hairlines, or damages.
