Magnificent Edo Period Japanese wood lacquer silver decorated hanging Incense Burner. It is finely made with maki-e and hiromaki-e technique with three pierced openings over the top with various silver cast originally patinated cloud shaped decorations and three originally patrinated silver rings over Chrysanthemum shaped silver ornaments around gold-lacquer center.
The top and the bottom part of the Koro has six low-relief raised silver and gold color fan shaped floral decorations over beautiful nashiji background .
There are no missing parts and no losses. The interior is decorated with gold foil
