Very rare Edo Period Japanese tall Studio Satsuma style Vase with an extended long neck and a low relief enamel work over two big shields on the bottom: one with a scene of Kannon, tripod koro and shishi , mountains and flowers on the background. Another shield depicts a scene of a monk on a vase on waves with houses and mountains on the background.
The vase has very fine decorations between panels; there are 16-leaved Chrysanthemums over the base of the neck. There is a scene of a dragon among clouds on the neck.
It is done with extremely fine enamel work.
