Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) one of a kind big satsuma style Teapot made by Ito Tozan. It is finely hand-decorated and features 10 lighting bugs over tone-changing blue to light blue color enameling. It has a gilded spout, hinges and a knob, and an original Bamboo handle. The top of the pot and the bottom of the lid are finely decorated with symbolic decorations.
It is 7" wide x 6 1/4" tall with a handle down; 8 1/2" with a handle up.
