Palace size Japanese one of a kind museum quality Meiji Period Porcelain Vase with handles in a shape of elephants' heads. The Vase is signed by Hikojiro Imura. It has fine under-glazed and over-glazed paintings of Irises with blossoms, with very fine low relief of lines over white Irises which is difficult to show on the pictures.
The background is made with light-green to green color enameling.
The upper and lower parts of the vase are fine decorated with various gold symbolic designs.
The signature of the artist is underglazed.
The Vase is 22" tall x 14 1/2" D.
